What Armenian Folk is
Armenian folk dance is a set of regional traditions kept alive by ensembles and family celebrations: shoulder-to-shoulder circle dances, men’s dances with weight in the knees, women’s dances built on the wrists. Classes teach the steps and where they come from.
What to bring to the first class
Soft shoes with a flat sole, clothes that allow a wide step, nothing loose on the wrists.
